Eliza was one of the first attempts at creating a computer program that could give the impression of intelligence by holding a conversation with a person, which conversation would mainly consist of asking general questions and repeating what the person said. The dude at the link above has made an Eliza bot for his AIM account. Hilarity ensues, especially in number 42. In honor of his effort, below is a transcript of my own attempt at discouraging people from randomly messaging me on ICQ. Notice how she takes it all in stride - I'm starting to wonder if she was a bot.

SomeChick: Hello, my name is Koryn. I am looking for men who are interested in making $25-$75 or more a day......... Interested then lets talk........ Or if you are looking to just lose or gain weight.
SpaceBass: i can make more than that by whoring
SomeChick: ok if that is what you want to do...
SpaceBass: yea my ass gets a little sore sometimes but the money is good and i get free candy
SomeChick: Where are you?
SpaceBass: in my room. uncle says i can't go out during the day
SomeChick: What do you mean your uncle says you can't go out?
SpaceBass: oh he's not really my uncle. i gotta go he just got back maybe we can talk later when he's asleep
